Last February Sint Lucas Antwerpen concluded a three year training programme with the visual arts and music department of PWU in Manila. During these 3 years strong bonds were created between the 2 institutions.
The concluding 2 weeks were 14 intens, but rich in sharing experiences on artistic research. Both the mentors and tutors from Sint Lucas and PWU grew a lot during this trajectory. Together we planed fruitful seeds for artistic research in the Philippines. In the first week we worked on a joint publication. A special edition of Grounds (the name of the research publication at Sint Lucas) was launched. A precious achievement that resulted in 2 unique copies. One can be consulted at the library of PWU, on at the library of Sint Lucas Antwerpen.
Although the ITP trajectory is over, the collaboration has not.We will try to find ways to do so. It was and is an honour to be part of this journey as a Dean.
